Sunday is the perfect day to try out some homemade beauty recipes. This morning I tried this avocado, honey and olive oil hair mask. It moisturizes your hair, leaving you with a soft and shiny look.
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp olive oil
Mash up the avocado, add in the honey and olive oil and mix well. Massage the mask into your hair, especially on your ends, and let sit for about 20 minutes. Wash and condition your hair as usual.
The two nail care products that I couldn’t live without, are the Cream Abricot from Dior and the butter london nail file. The Dior abricot cream is very rich and nourishes and conditions cuticles. I bought this cream a few months ago and my nails have become so much stronger and my cuticles almost disappeared. The cream can be applied and massaged into the base of the nail pre- or post-polish. You can buy the cream for around 22 Euros at Sephora. The price seems a bit shocking for the tiny amount that you get. However after 2 months of daily usage I can say that it will last for a very long time.
My favorite nail file is from butter London. I love all their nail products and I appreciate that the company is not using any animal testing for the product development.
Dior has dedicated an entire exhibition to my favorite perfume – Miss Dior!
66 years after Christian Dior presented his first collection, Le Grand Palais Paris will open its doors to the Miss Dior exhibit, titled “Esprit Dior, Miss Dior”. The exhibit is a homage to Miss Dior and visitors will be able to see vintage photos, historical manuscripts and the Miss Dior inspired art work of 15 female artists. Shirin Neshat, Carole Benzaken and Joana Vasconcelos are among the artist that have been invited by Dior.
I can assure you that I will be the first person knocking on the doors of the Grand Palais on November 13th. Stay tuned for my pictures and impression of the exhibit.
The exhibit will take place in Le Grand Palais from November 13 – 25. Free entrance.
A little while ago I discovered this amazing hair product…I wouldn’t want to miss it anymore..A few drops of Kérastase and my hair gets super soft and shiny. Even though it is not the cheapest product you can get, it is worth its money and the best hair product I have tried so far!
